I have more than 14 years experience as a law tutor and examiner. My content includes, but not limited to teaching: LL.B, GDL, LPC, BPTC and QLTS. Moreover, I am able to offer tuition in a wide variety of subjects, including all the compulsory subjects on the qualifying law degree, across the GDL, the CPA subjects on the LPC along with a number of the electives.
In addition, my considerable experience as an examiner allows me to bring a unique insight into my teaching. I am very familiar with the common mistakes and where additional marks can be achieved.
Teaching Experience
I have in excess of 14 years experience as a law tutor, from undergraduate level through to Graduate diploma, postgraduate and Masters. My experience covers the LL.B; GDL (Graduate conversion course); LPC (Legal Practice Course)’ BPTC (Bar Professional Training Course); CILeX and QLTS. My private tuition experience has been with several leading universities including the University of Law, BPP University, The Open University and University of Exeter.
Furthermore, I am an examiner with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives on their Level 3 units and am a former examiner with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Tuition in all of the core subjects that make up the qualifying law degree is something I am extremely confident in helping with. This includes (contract, tort, equity and trusts, crime, constitutional and administrative law, EU law). Furthermore, all of the subjects on the GDL, all of the CPA (Core Practice Areas) on the LPC (Real Estate, Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Business Law and Practice), together with a number of electives. I can also offer tuition in the skills component of the LPC including interviewing and advocacy.
