Description: A short snippet of one of our Biochemistry PhD graduates / Masters in Pharmacy / private tutor in London tutor profile.
I am doing my PhD and will graduate within the next few months. My PhD focused on Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Biology. I have published many papers in reputable scientific journals. I graduated with a First-class honours MPharm (Pharmacy) degree from the University of Manchester and was awarded the Academic Excellence Award by the Faculty. Before doing my PhD, I have worked as pre-registration pharmacist for a year at the Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital NHS Trust. After that, I worked at the same hospital for another year as a clinical rotational pharmacist.
Teaching Experience
I always enjoy teaching and have extensive experiences in teaching and tutoring. During my PhD, I have taught different modules to pharmacy undergraduates and also taught A-level, degree and master students in research laboratories. In recognition of my teaching, I have been awarded the Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). I am results-orientated. I will establish the level where the student is at, explore any problem that they face, and focus on resolving the weak area.
I always believe that everyone can do well in their studies and examinations, but they need to have the right teacher to assist them and to teach them techniques to excel. I have extensive experience in examinations and have been awarded Equal First in the world in Mathematics and Second in the world in Chemistry by the A-Level Cambridge International Examination board.
