Teaching and inspiring students to reach their potential in their academics is a huge passion of mine. The role of a tutor enables me to use my love for teaching and sharing wisdom to support the education of my students.
My passion of science is evident through my higher education career, with which I hope to apply the best strategy and learning techniques to my students. Thanks to my organisation skills and time managements, I can ensure I can balance my teaching hours and my own studies.
I have also taught a wide variety of students; from ages 3-17 including students with learning difficulties. I strive to provide additional support to suit their educational needs without overwhelming them. I aim to teach my students in the long term as stability and consistency are important for the progression of their studies.
Having had experience of being a dance teacher for over 10 years, I find it rewarding to watch the progression of my students and hear about their improvement from parents and school teachers, which I hope translates across in my lessons and how I teach.
My energetic, engaging and patient personality helps my students explore their passion for learning and motivate them to work harder.
Teaching Experience
I have always received positive feedback from parents and students due to my dedication to inspire young individuals to obtain their potentials. I use individualised learning plans to make lessons more enjoyable to encourage their love for learning, not just to achieve top grades.
I tailor my lessons to suit the student’s optimum style of learning to make the best use of their lesson time. I always encourage students to be interactive during lessons and to always ask questions if in doubt. I provide personalised homework weekly to consolidate their learning and give constructive criticism to help improve their work.
My previous experience in tutoring has allowed me to be up to date with the current National Curriculum, making sure the content I teach is relevant for their syllabus.
