Japanese and French Tutor Eloise

Description: University of Oxford graduate Eloise is a Japanese and French tutor who also specialises in Personal Statements for Russell Group Universities. Here is an outline of her tutor profile.

About Me

My name is Eloise and I am proud to say that I am a graduate of Oxford University. I have a first-class degree in modern languages including Japanese.

Learning new languages is my passion. Foreign languages provide a competitive edge in career choices. The study of a new language enhances listening skills and memory and I hope to provide this in my teaching. I speak five languages myself including – three fluently.

I am open-minded, friendly, patient, and highly value serious education as a tool for professional development.

Apart from sharing my skill set through online tutoring I am also a freelance illustrator and have embarked on an MA in Illustration. My hobbies include making Japanese food and weightlifting.

Teaching Experience

My experience with tutoring vastly covers a wide range of ages and backgrounds. I was a private English language tutor in Japan for a year during my time abroad.

I found my time there to be both fulfilling and rewarding as I was in a country I take a great interest and passion in. My students were delightful and I felt that I had made a great impact on their abilities with English Skills.

Another subject I feel confident and passionate about teaching is French and I have tutored a number of students during my time at Oxford University.

I have also personally helped multiple prospective Oxford students/UCAS applicants with their personal statements.

Each Univesity has different requirements and I help my students with mock interviews, covering a wide range of different questions to help best prepare them.

I look forward to continuing tutoring and expanding the knowledge of my students.
