About Me
I am an ambitious and determined individual. Part of my ethos is to thrive on challenges and I constantly set goals for myself to work towards. I have a keen interest in Medicinal and Biological chemistry. My aim is to make an impact on many students attitudes and motivation towards their learning.
Teaching Experience
I have been a tutor to a wide range of ages starting from Year 3 to Year 11. Mainly in subjects such as Maths, English at Primary level and Biology for Secondary. My main responsibilities were to plan lessons and make sure that my tutees understood the topics I covered with them. I also planned some mini-assessments for them and kept track of their progress. Working as a Science tutor has allowed me to interact with people of many age ranges and therefore has enhanced my interpersonal skills.
I have also helped students by delivering online lessons. It was a privilege to help so many students during the pandemic and I was proud of my responsibility for tutoring them. It was very often students were stuck or unsure on a question and I adapted their learning to meet their individual needs. I also learnt how to make lessons more engaging to increase focus. At the end of each lesson, I was also required to pass on the student’s lesson feedback to parents. It was wonderful to see so much progress with their time with me.
