11+ English Private English Tutor Charlie

Description: Charlie’s success with students as a private tutor both online and offline. Also a snippet of his tutor profile.

Charlie has been working with us for almost 4 years now. He has devoted hundreds, if not thousands of hours to private tutoring as an 11+ and English tutor. He has inspired many young dreamers to write in a style that moves every reader.

Most recently, he has started to work with a young boy called Adam who resides in Shanghai, China, and attends an international school. His mother has plans of sending him to the UK to study in future. Adam is very shy and reserved, and Charlie is able to lead the lessons in a way that will help Adam open up. Charlie appears to be like an ‘older brother’ figure to many young people and this
is his gift; he is able to ‘hold their hand’ throughout what feels like a daunting process for those who are preparing for the 11+.

Charlie is a passionate writer, and has written novels and many articles. He has a wonderful way with words that can appear to be poetic and comforting. He has helped many young people who initially struggle with writing stories become talented writers and develop passionate imaginations.

Our appreciation for Charlie runs far deeper than just for his excellence in English. His patience, understanding and cooperation throughout his time with Telios Tutors makes him a very desirable person to work with. Thank you, Charlie, for your commitment over
the years. We hope to have many more to come!

Biography

I am a highly creative individual with a thirst for developing innovative teaching styles. Every student is unique and requires extensive attention for their academic journey to flourish. I have a very clear and logical tutoring style, yet simultaneously very creative. I am very analytical in my approach and will always devise appropriate methods based on the individual I am working with. Experience develops strong intuitive abilities in a teacher, along with proven methods that allow students to reach their potential. I have seen students realise their strengths and improve upon weaker areas, all the while developing unimaginable confidence. I set regular homework and provide monthly feedback reports for parents. I am available for consulting parents and students on matters concerning schools, exams and general development outside of class. But perhaps the important trait of all is my ability to listen and continuously learn. I like to speak to students as individuals and human beings regardless of age, offering a certain degree of sophistication that aims to benefit them as people just as well as scholars.

I also run special workshops for students with upcoming exams or for specific skills that they wish to heavily improve upon. These workshops are always in person and are incredibly beneficial. They typically run at the weekend or weekdays during holidays. They are very popular so need to be booked in advance.
