About Me
My name is Nanaki and I am working towards my PhD where I am studying Cancer and Mental Illness at UCL.
I have personal academic experience with completing all major examinations.
These include iGCSEs, IB, SAT, BSc, and MSc exams. I have the ability to teach various test-taking techniques to help boost students performance.
I was a private tutor during my MSc at Imperial College and there I helped BSc biology and biochemistry students with computational projects.
Teaching Experience
During my PhD, I help in executing various modules across the faculty of life sciences. This involves teaching and marking work for undergraduates and postgraduates.
I am also a Debate Mate Mentor and teaching assistant where I coach high school students in public speaking and communication skills.
I aim to deliver structured lessons plans that closely follow the syllabus. It is crucial to tailor the classes to students personal needs and their priorities.
By using my experience in public speaking and debate I am also able to share transferable skills with my students.
I endeavour to help them feel comfortable and engaged enough to achieve their set goals and targets.
