I am a recent graduate of Durham University where I earned a BA in Anthropology & Sociology. Currently, I am studying for an MA in Theatre Directing at drama school. An integral part of my Masters is working with and understanding texts in a comprehension-style format.

My knowledge of literature ranges from Greek plays to modern writing. I have also directed an upcoming feature film (2021.) Responsibilities such as punctuality and communication skills were both vital in this role. I bring these to my lessons in order to maximise student productivity.

As an Online Private English Tutor, I have a friendly and outgoing approach. I work to develop engaging lessons which bring out the creativity of my students. My past experience in both child-care and tutoring gives me a heightened understanding of what students need to learn well. I have tutored both one-on-one and worked with disadvantaged pupils doing comprehension and readings.

One of the best aspects of private tutoring is getting to know each of my students very well. No two students are the same and I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals to find the best learning style for them.
