I am an enthusiastic, ambitious and driven individual who enjoys contributing to the community and working towards exceeding personal goals. I am a first year Biochemistry undergraduate studying at the University of Leeds. I enjoy spending my free time supporting the community, whether that be at a local care home or coaching swimming. I take pleasure in playing hockey on the weekends with my team and reading about pharmaceuticals.

I helped out at a primary school for a year to assist teaching a the topic that a specific class were learning that day, enabling more time to be focused on each pupil as responsibilities could be shared between the class teacher and myself. I enjoyed supporting the community, interacting with the pupils and following their success throughout the year.


I also volunteered to coach children swimming, creating innovative delivery directed towards improving their technique and competency in the water. I would teach two groups of children a week, tailoring my style of teaching for the age group to yield the best results.
