With over 8 years experience teaching English, French and Spanish to students from KS2-KS4 in various schools internationally, I have first hand experience in effective language acquisition methods. I have a BA Honours degree in Modern Languages, Masters degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies and a PGCE with QTS from the University of Sunderland. My love for languages comes from my passion for bridging cultural gaps and making communication across borders more accessible and enjoyable. Helping individuals get excited about learning languages and motivating them to set and reach their goals brings me great joy.
As a fully qualified teacher from the UK with a BA Honours in Modern Languages and an MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies, I have over 8 years experience teaching GCSE and A Level French and Spanish at various schools internationally as well as experience tutoring KS2 students preparing for 8+ and 11+ examinations to help develop confidence in the English, Maths, Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning papers. I am a qualified examination invigilator and have experience supporting SEN students with reading and scribing in examinations. As a certified ESL tutor, I obtained the Advanced 150hr TEFL qualification and I have enjoyed running extra curricular classes to help students with public speaking, speech competition practice and phonics. I have effectively designed custom made lesson plans for students following course outlines and also executed non-teaching duties such as preparing progress reports and developing and organising teaching materials.
