About Me
Hello, my name is Matthew. I am a fully qualified teacher with extensive pastoral experience as a Head of Year.
It is a privilidge to have many years of teaching experience at all ages and abilities.
My secondary subjects are Science, English and Maths – which I teach up to KS3.
One of my main hobbies is sport and I love being active – especially in Cricket. I took this passion and went on to do my degree in Sports and Physical Education at Durham University.
Teaching Experience
I am a fully qualified teacher with a full PGCE and QTS status and several years of teaching experience in an educational setting.
I also perform a Senior Role at my current school and thus have extensive pastoral experience.
This allows me to support and inspire students to reach their full potential.
I have completed a degree at Durham University in Sport and Physical Education.
There I undertook many modules with an emphasis on teaching experience.
I have taught all ages from primary school children to A level students. It was also a pleasure to have also taught children with Special Educational Needs.
My experience allows me to not only deliver content but inspire, communicate and challenge students to reach their full potential.
