I have seven years of experience tutoring across all age groups. My subjects include Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Along with teaching core subjects, I also support students with their personal statements and applications to university. These are often stressful processes and it is important to receive proper guidance on how to approach them. I am passionate about Maths and believe the best way to teach it is through practising as many questions as possible with my students, so they can learn from their mistakes.
I have taught many students over the years, all with varying abilities. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is watching a student gain confidence in what they are learning. It is wonderful to see students completing tasks with eagerness which they had once found intimidating. Being a Maths and Science Tutor takes patience and time. It requires the ability to change one’s teaching style, to adapt to the way the student learns best. The outcome is always worth the effort.
I plan lessons around each student to ensure they are as engaging and relevant to their studies as possible. This is because I understand that every student has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. I provide flexibility for students by learning the best methods to explain Mathematical concepts. It is my goal to work with students to help them reach their potential and maximise their results.
