About Me
Hello, my name is Nigel and I am from London, UK.
I lived in China for four years and taught English to adults and children
I enjoyed the Chinese culture and gained much satisfaction from seeing my students grow in confidence, especially in conversational English.
My personality is warm, outgoing and very patient, which is so important when learning a new language.
I believe learning should be fun, so my aim as your teacher will be to make you feel relaxed and make our lessons fun and motivating.
In addition to my passion for teaching, I also enjoy cooking, reading, walking and generally enjoying good times with my friends.
Teaching Experience
I have taught ESL for many years to students privately, both children and adults from ages 4 and up.
By using various teaching methods, including role play, I am able to engage with different students helping them feel comfortable and confident in using English.
I am responsible for creating my own lesson plans and teaching materials to best suit the needs of each individual student.
In the future, I would like to focus on helping students with Business English.
