Bio
I am an experienced private tutor and education consultant with over 12 years’ experience supporting children and families in the UK and internationally. I specialise in school entrance examinations, academic tuition, homeschooling and educational consultancy, helping students build confidence, achieve their academic goals and develop a genuine enjoyment of learning.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with families from a wide range of backgrounds, supporting them with educational planning, school admissions and tailored academic support. I have extensive experience advising international families on UK education pathways, while also providing direct tuition to help students reach their full potential.
My approach to teaching is highly individualised. I adapt my lessons to each student’s abilities, interests and learning style, creating engaging and purposeful sessions that develop subject knowledge, independence, confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
Teaching Experience
I have over 12 years’ experience tutoring pupils from primary school through to A Level, supporting students across a range of subjects and academic pathways. I specialise in preparing pupils for competitive school entrance examinations, including 7+, 8+, 11+, 13+ and 16+ assessments, with experience covering English, Mathematics, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, interview preparation and school-specific requirements.
I have supported students applying to leading UK independent schools, including St Paul’s, Westminster, Sussex House, King’s, City of London, Latymer, Charterhouse and Sevenoaks.
Alongside entrance exam preparation, I have provided GCSE and A Level tuition in Mathematics, Economics and Fine Art, with students achieving excellent results and progressing to universities including Cambridge and Edinburgh. I have also supported students with organisation, revision strategies, workload management and independent learning, including pupils with additional learning needs.
My teaching experience includes designing bespoke homeschooling programmes, delivering intensive and residential tuition programmes, and providing Fine Art tuition, scholarship preparation and English as an Additional Language support for international pupils. I have delivered tuition and educational support internationally across locations including Dubai, Miami, Germany, Spain, France and the Caribbean.
Education Consultancy Experience
Alongside my tutoring work, I have extensive experience supporting families with educational planning, school admissions and long-term academic strategy. I have worked with UK and international families to help them navigate education pathways, identify suitable schools and develop tailored plans based on each child’s individual strengths, needs and aspirations.
My consultancy experience includes advising families on UK school admissions, entrance preparation and educational transitions, as well as designing bespoke academic programmes for pupils preparing to enter leading UK and international schools.
I have supported families with applications to highly competitive independent schools, including St Paul’s, Westminster, Sussex House, King’s, City of London, Latymer, Charterhouse and Sevenoaks. I have also supported families through homeschooling and alternative education pathways, creating structured programmes that combine academic development, confidence-building and preparation for future educational goals.
Interests
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy keeping active through football, gym, skiing and sport in general. I have a keen interest in creativity and art, particularly oil painting, and I also enjoy playing chess. I love spending time with animals, especially dogs, as well as cooking, travelling, visiting the theatre and reading.
