My name is Lauren and I am an experienced English Literature and Language. I am passionate about helping students achieve their best in their GCSEs through engaging and effective lessons tailored to the specific requirements of the exam boards and curriculum. I have a First Class degree in Law and Spanish, as well as a distinction in a Master’s of Law.
My sessions are all about making English accessible and enjoyable. Whether it’s working through set texts, understanding exam techniques, or developing essay-writing skills, I tailor my lessons to fit each student’s needs. I also love to inspire creativity, drawing from my experiences writing poetry and prose. I use this knowledge to help students not just prepare for exams but cultivate a passion for the subject.
In my lessons, I teach students how to write with precision and clarity. My background in law means I am all about structure and strong arguments, which I weave into our English sessions. Whether it’s breaking down complex texts or fine-tuning essays, I help students develop the skills they need to write confidently and persuasively. With two published academic papers under my belt, I know how to turn good writing into great writing, and I am here to pass that on to my students.
