I am a graduate from The University of Birmingham with a 2:1 BA in English Literature. I am educated to Masters level, pursuing a degree in Publishing at UCL. I have a keen interest in the arts. As a student of literature, I have a passion for writing and discovering new literature. Working as a private online English tutor allows me to explore the subject further while instilling a deep love of learning in my students.
I have experience in classroom settings as part of my work experience with several local primary schools. While volunteering in a reading initiative for 10-12-year-olds, I gained valuable experience in one-on-one tutoring. Since beginning my work as a tutor, I have also taught GCSE English Literature and Language to a group of five students. All these students earned grade B or above after my help and their hard work. Moreover, for the past four years, I have taught 10-16-year-olds singing as a part of the Welsh National Youth Opera. I always ensure that my lessons are fun and engaging!
