What a genuine pleasure it is to witness the academic and personal develop of one of our students Elia who has demonstrated significant improvements in the space of just several months. She is a 10 year old girl that is now writing at adult level!
At Telios Tutors, we love to give recognition and acknowledge hard work, dedication and consistency. Elia always goes above and beyond in her homework, is so thorough in her creative writing and is now adopting vocabulary that exceeds national average standards.
Elia initially started with very little confidence and competency in English language. Her imagination was not extremely creative and her choice of vocabulary applied in her writing was not always appropriate. Here’s an example of her work at the beginning:
Since working with her tutor, she has developed a strong foundation in English and writes with such sophistication and maturity. There is very little planning required and she is able to independently produce high quality work within timed conditions.

When we work with a student, we realise their potential and aim for excellence. In many cases, we do not necessarily adhere to the ‘limits’ that are often confined by society’s expectations on the level they should be working at. Rather, we stretch them to their full capabilities, in the full knowledge that they can do so much more. We encourage students to fall in love with the process, make it fun so it is something they look forward to doing.
