I am an extremely enthusiastic tutor who loves to develop others and pride myself on my reliability and dependability. My teaching style is usually very interactive as I like to see the thought processes of my students.
I believe the best route towards progression is to try and encourage them to work out answers and take some time to think, giving me an opportunity to assess the mental steps they take and really pinpoint the weaker areas to work on.
I understand how stressful these exams can be, and I therefore believe in good preparation and progress testing in order to ensure stress does not become a factor which could lower outcomes.
Additionally, I like to make my lessons interesting. If the student is engaged with the subject they are much more likely to retain information better and therefore achieve higher grades. I love teaching and I also love learning, and I would be delighted to work with students and parents in order to get the most out of the lessons we have.
Aside from being able to help with all aspects of applying to medical school, I work as a private 1 to 1 science and maths tutor in London both in person and online.
