I am an English tutor with five years of teaching experience. I teach all ages and all abilities. I also teach creative and academic writing.
A little bit about my background: I am a professional, award-winning writer. I am a graduate of The Royal Court Theatre’s writers programme and recipient of The Robert Rockwell Prize for dramatic writing. I am currently working on a play commission for Sky Arts.
In 2015, I graduated from Bard College (in Upstate New York) with a 1st in writing. Upon graduation, I moved to NYC and worked as a writer while also teaching/tutoring. I returned to London for my Master’s in writing at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, at which I was awarded The Embassy Scholarship for writing. I am a guest lecturer at City University.
I am passionate about teaching. I bring energy and a sense of humour to each lesson, always creating a comfortable atmosphere so my students can feel at ease. I especially enjoy one-on-one tutoring. The focused setup allows me to cater my teaching style to each individual student’s needs.
