I am pursuing my 5th-year in my medical degree at University College London and have experience mentoring children in schools. In my spare time, I write articles for my university and provide support for international students improving English. I have worked closely with my university in providing outreach to children of all backgrounds in order to gain access to medicine and other degree options.
I have experience in mentoring and tutoring students from the ages of 5-17. My areas include Sciences, Maths and English. I can also help students develop exam strategies, revision preparation and medical school exams and interviews. The boards I can cover are Edexcel, OCR, AQA and CIE. I tailor my teaching to each individual student. This is done by encouraging students to use their exam board specifications as a point of reference. We then work through it together.
I have held outreach days in collaboration with UCL medical school in order to mentor and tutor students in secondary school. These sessions prepare students to go into medicine. They also teach how to pass exams more efficiently. Along with UCL, I have successfully helped students with applications to universities like Hull, LSE, Leeds and other Russell Group universities. This has applied to students of many varied different degree choices. Personal Statement coaching is also a specialty of mine.
I regularly participate in community initiatives which provide tutoring sessions for students. As a core subjects tutor, I specialise in subjects such as Sciences, Maths and English. It is my goal to give these students the tools to progress through their work with more ease.
