As the summer holidays approach, we’re excited to introduce our Summer Skills Series!
This is not ‘another course’.
It’s designed to cultivate skills that are transferable to the real world – something not often taught in schools is HOW to use initiative to think independently.
We don’t just teach WHAT to think!
A collection of creative, confidence-building group sessions designed to keep minds active and inspired over the break.
Sessions are fun, practical, and grounded in real-world learning – all in a small group setting where we meet online that encourages collaboration and lively discussion.
We’re limiting spaces to ensure an intimate, interactive experience and a chance for students to mastermind with like-minded peers.
Here’s what’s on offer (Any age can join, this is just a guideline):
🎤 Become a Sensational Storyteller (Ages 8–11)
Creative writing meets performance in this dynamic course designed to unlock imagination and self-expression
Students will explore character development, dialogue, story arcs, and how to bring stories to life with voice, tone, and presence
🔹 Build confidence in written and spoken storytelling
🔹 Learn how to craft a compelling beginning, middle & end
🔹 Discover techniques used by authors, screenwriters & poets
🔹 Optional showcase at the end for those who want to share!
By the end, students should:
✅ Be able to tell a story in a charismatic and captivating style
✅ Be able to present their ideas with greater clarity and concisely
✅ Feel proud of their unique voice and creative confidence
📊 Numbercruncher: Life Lessons in Money & Maths (Ages 8–13)
This isn’t textbook maths. It’s the maths that actually matters.
From budgeting a summer holiday to setting up a mini business, this course uses fun, real-life scenarios to teach financial literacy and mathematical thinking.
🔹 Pocket money planning, saving & smart spending
🔹 Mini challenges on budgeting, income, and ‘needs vs wants’
🔹 Intro to big concepts like interest, inflation & ethical spending
🔹 Gamified learning and mini case studies
By the end, students should:
✅ Understand the value of money & basic budgeting
✅ Have awareness of our beliefs around money and how it shapes our lives
✅ Feel empowered to make smart financial choices
💼 Mini Apprentice: Fun with Business & Big Ideas (Ages 11–15)
A fun, fast-paced course for aspiring entrepreneurs and big thinkers!
Students will brainstorm ideas, create simple branding, develop product concepts and learn how to pitch with power – all through games and mini challenges.
🔹 Branding & product design
🔹 Teamwork, leadership & creative problem-solving
🔹 Pitching & presentation skills
🔹 Group feedback and optional final “pitch” session
By the end, students should:
✅ Design and pitch their own business or project idea
✅ Build confidence in leadership and communication
✅ Understand the basics of marketing and sales
Each programme includes:
✔️ Weekly Teams group session (1 hour, max roughly 6–8 students)
✔️ Take-home challenges between sessions
✔️ Prizes, certificates & incentives
✔️ Personal encouragement and feedback throughout
We are even exploring a future in-person event – imagine a real-life Mini Apprentice day!
