About Me
Hi, my name is Emily!
I am an experienced online tutor for the subjects of Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics for the levels of KS3 up to GCSE.
Currently, I am educated at University Degree level in Medicine at University College London.
My time there has given me the opportunity to further develop my interests and knowledge in these subjects.
Outside of my tutoring, I am part of a netball team, as well as playing the piano and volunteering at hospitals and healthcare settings in my spare time.
I am very passionate about teaching/tutoring.
I strive to ensure all of my students reach their academic goals by gaining confidence in the subjects that challenge them.
My aim is to be adaptable to any learning style and requirements your child has.
I create an encouraging and enjoyable environment where the students feel they can voice their thoughts and opinions.
Teaching Experience
Over the years I have had online 1:1 tutoring experience with GCSE students for Chemistry, Physics and Maths.
Additionally, I have had multiple voluntary tutoring roles.
For instance, tutoring children at a hospital day school / after-school Mathematics clinic, and mentoring GCSE students through their Science exams.
In all of these experiences, I have strived to create an enjoyable learning environment and helped my students reach their academic goals and beyond.
