About Me
My name is Arefeen and I am a certified medical doctor and a biomedical science graduate from the UK.
I have an acute and innate passion to teach students. Since 2010 I have consistently taught GCSE and A-Level students online and face to face.
I have worked in Bangladesh, China and currently teaching GCSE and A level students online from the UK and Europe.
Teaching Experience
My time teaching AQA GCSE Biology and Chemistry in Xiamen, China developed my skills and teaching methods.
Part of my role was to prepare all Science teaching and lesson plans. I collaborated with colleagues to improve teaching quality by designing quizzes and exams.
It was greatly beneficial to work in focused study groups with students and find ways to improve their scientific skills.
By having general hands-on experience with different experiments in practical classes I was able to consolidate my student’s learning.
Each student is different and has individual learning needs.
I was able to quickly identify this and accommodate my learning styles that best matched my students.
Having worked in both one to one and group sessions it is my role as the teacher to maintain consistency and quality in every lesson, keeping it as engaging and resourceful as possible.
