About Me
During my school education, I received tutoring to assist with my academic studies, which I found extremely helpful.
Therefore, I find it very rewarding to tutor students throughout their academic journey in any way I can.
I am a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist, graduating from the University of Leeds with a BSc (HONS) degree, currently working in the countryside.
When I am not online tutoring I teach and help many patients every day with their oral hygiene and general health.
Teaching Experience
I am an experienced online tutor teaching Biology and Chemistry up to GCSE level.
I have had the pleasure of helping a number of students reach their academic goals.
During my own A-Levels, I was able to be a Peer Mentor for my younger colleagues, helping others with their work and concerns.
During university, I was able to assist my colleagues with A-level knowledge which they needed explaining to. I always enjoy helping others in any way I can.
I am aware of how important it is to build a strong rapport and trust with my students.
To help achieve this I regularly have stops in my lessons to see if my students are following what is being taught.
I am a strong believer that no question is a silly question.
Seeing my students flourish with confidence is just as rewarding as hearing about how well they have done in their exams or tests at school.
I look forward to continuing my online tutoring career, benefitting many students in need of extra support to achieve excellence.
