About Me
My name is Emily and I have graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Classics. I particularly specialise in tutoring Latin, Classics, English and Verbal Reasoning at 11+ and 13+.
I also have extensive experience in assisting students with their university applications. Many of my previous students have been offered places at top universities, including Oxbridge. I am comfortable helping with personal statements/applications for all subjects including Medicine and Economics.
Teaching Experience
I have over nine years of full-time teaching experience in prestigious independent schools. During my time working in a school environment, I taught students aged 11-18 in Latin and Classics. Not only this but I also mentored students through the university application process with notable success. I have also worked extensively with students on developing their essay-writing skills.
Delivering exceptionally high academic results and being comfortable in challenging the mindset of all pupils is part of my ethos. My goal is to create thoughtful, innovative and exciting lessons, which support her students as individuals.
